A large fire broke out after noon between the Ruse exit to Byala and the 9th km. This forced the road to Byala to be closed by the police, and the vehicles to be diverted along a detour in front of Basarbovo and Ivanovo, BTV reported.
The fire started due to a spark from a passing train, covering a large perimeter along the railway line.
All fire brigade teams in the area are on standby. The flames have also spread to the other side of the road from the fields.
The fire has been contained so that it does not spread to the cottage areas.
The fire department continues to work on site.
