A cyclist died after falling into a ditch on a boulevard in Plovdiv, bTV learned from its sources.
The unfortunate incident happened in the late afternoon on “Alexander Stamboliyski” Blvd. in the city under the hills.
There is a team of police, forensic experts and representatives of the contractor company that is repairing the boulevard.
It is not clear what exactly caused the tragedy and whether the cyclist fell into a hole opened during the repair work.
The case is still being clarified, an investigation is underway.
