For the first time since its creation, the largest organization of DPS in the country &ndash ; the one in Kardzhali, will appear in the elections divided. With two coalitions and two candidate-deputy lists. 5 are the mandates in Kardzhali, from which DPS received the most seats. Always the leader of the leaves was its leader. Now, however, there are two lists with two leaders, each of whom will use different tactics to dominate and attract votes.
Traditional voters of this party are also divided on who to support and wander between Delyan Peevski and Ahmed Dogan, commented BNR. According to political scientists, the area known as "Dogan's fortress" will be the touchstone of who will prevail – "DPS – new beginning" or "Alliance for Rights and Freedoms". And from there, what will be the fate of the two leaders.
On this background, the focus of pre-election messages moved away from the presence of GERB in the region, as the second political force, and from the less popular PP support – DB and BSP, which were hardly commented on days before the start of the election campaign.
Whatever happens, however, in the coming weeks there will be an interesting and stormy pre-election battle in Kardzhali, which will inevitably have an impact on Bulgarian political life.
