At the moment there is no direct threat to our country. This was stated by President Rumen Radev after the extraordinary meeting of the National Security Advisory Council (NASSC).
The risk is increasing towards an increase in the migration flow. The risk of terrorist attacks is increasing. they must continue the effort to evacuate Bulgarian citizens from the region, as well as to free our compatriots from the "Galaxy Leader", the head of state pointed out.
We call for de-escalation and not allowing the involvement of other countries, which would be a threat to peace on a global scale. There is an urgent and immediate need to end hostilities and find a peaceful way out of the situation. If necessary, preventive measures to prevent terrorist threats should be strengthened, Radev added. He called for updating the National Plan for the Prevention of Terrorism.
