With a stylish event in Gallery 2019 "BSP - United Left" opened last night his election campaign in 16 MIR Plovdiv and 17 MIR Plovdiv - region. The candidates were personally supported by the chairman of the "BSP-UNITED LEFT" Atanas Zafirov, as well as by the chairman of one of the coalition partners - "Stand Up, Bulgaria". - Maya Manolova.

"BSP – United Left" has the best program of all the parties. The most important thing is for people to vote so that there are no such gatherings as we witnessed, to stop the disintegration of the state and to stop the complete disgust with politics", Zafirov was categorical. He recalled that the unification was reached after a constructive and in-depth conversation about programs and ideas, not about lists and personalities. Zafirov also emphasized his inseparable connection with the city under the hills: "I am in love with Plovdiv. I completed one of my higher educations here. My best men are also from Plovdiv. I always come here with pleasure.

Maya Manolova stated that she stands with a clean face in front of the people of Plovdiv, as together with them she led the battles against the quarries, the water pollution in Brestovitsa, against the construction of the park behind the hotel "Saint Petersburg". She was adamant that "BSP – UNITED LEFT" will not enter into assemblies with GERB and DPS.

The leader of the list for 16 MIR Ivan Petkov urged those present: "Let us be a hammer, let us be like a fist in these elections. In recent years, because of the many parliamentary and local elections, I met many people who said - unite, unite. We have seen that the model of one-man leadership does not take the party or the left up. Now we are together and we can make a very good result", he declared. And ended with the words of Georgi Dimitrov: "If you don't want to be an anvil, you have to be a hammer."

Manol Genov - leader of the list for 17 MIR - stressed that "BSP - UNITED" he can achieve a very good result with which he will have a larger parliamentary representation to weigh his seat. According to him, this is the only way it will become an unavoidable factor with which to negotiate the future management of the state. He added that the candidates in the two lists are prepared people, experts who can make important decisions for the country.
