Prof. Malinov: I expect Borisov to close the door for Peevski in the next government - 1

In these elections, I do not expect nothing new happened. However, it is reasonable for the parties to behave more calmly this time, and for their leaders to be restrained in their promises. After all, there is no way to come out with new messages and new personalities every four months. This was commented on by the political scientist Prof. Svetoslav Malinov in the morning block of bTV.

He predicts that in the next parliament Boyko Borisov will “close the door” for Peevski to participate in the government, and Peevski's party – DPS-New Beginning will be less represented by deputies in the National Assembly.

Prof. Malinov pointed out that the arrest of Ceyhan Ibryamov was a “desperate attempt” of Peevski, which will have the opposite effect if the goal was to scare people close to Ahmed Dogan.

PP-DB and GERB will be close to forming a majority, but they will not have 120 deputies. I believe that we are on the verge of ousting Delyan Peevski from participating in a regular cabinet, he also said and emphasized that the main enemy for political parties should be the next early elections, not Peevski or President Radev.

In addition, he pointed out that the rotation was thwarted by the “excessive influence” of Peevski in the assembly.

For his part, political analyst Slavi Vassilev explained that the best diagnosis for a given political system is voter turnout. In the elections on October 27, he does not expect it to be higher than the previous ones.

If it comes to the formation of a majority in the 51st parliament, it will again be around Borisov and in all probability around Peevski. Because there is one basic truth, and that is that Peevski's influence is getting out of control. This person's influence will grow unless voter turnout rises to the point where the bought and manipulated vote loses weight. Only the voters can change this, Peevski's influence depends on them, Vassilev believes.

In his words, the detention of Ibryamov is another proof that the prosecutor's office and the police work in the service of Delyan Peevski.

„The main enemy is the mutts in the government, not early elections,”, he added.

According to Georgi Harizanov, it is important that Bulgaria has a serious government with “bold, pro-business policies” in order to repair all the damage to the budget from 2021 onwards, noting that changes cannot happen without money.< /p>

Kharizanov, however, admitted that fatigue from the next election is universal and it is also visible in the behavior of the parties, which are practically unable to offer new messages to their voters.
