Within the agenda, the interior ministers of the EU member states will discuss the general state of the Schengen area, and Bulgaria will present the contribution of our country to the security of the free movement zone.
Among the topics of the meeting are a review of EU information systems in the field of law enforcement and a discussion of the approach of a legislative proposal to combat sexual abuse of children. The ministers will also exchange views on the impact of external conflicts, including the war in Ukraine and the situation in the Middle East, on security in the European Union.
