Traffic is intense at some of the border checkpoints (BCP) along the border with Romania. This was announced by the Main Directorate of the Border Police. of the Ministry of the Interior on the website, BTA reported.

Traffic is intense at the exit for trucks at the ''Kardam'' border crossing, the ''Durankulak border crossing'' and border checkpoint ''Nikopol''.
Due to a major repair of the Bulgarian section of the Danube bridge near Ruse, a temporary organization of traffic has been introduced, with the traffic taking place in one lane with a through mode and regulated by a traffic light system, the message recalls. In addition to the Ruse checkpoint, drivers in the region can also go to the Silistra checkpoint, Kardam checkpoint, Durankulak checkpoint, Kaynardzha checkpoint. and "Krushari" checkpoint. The last two are open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., trucks are not allowed to pass through them.
On the border with Greece, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints. Through the border points "Makaza", "Zlatograd" and “Ivaylovgrad“ only cars and vans are allowed to pass.
On the border with the Republic of Serbia, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints.
On the border with the Republic of North Macedonia, traffic is also normal at all border checkpoints. In connection with the ongoing reconstruction of the checkpoint "Stanke Lisichkovo" and the need to carry out construction and assembly works, until 21.10.2024 the traffic will be allowed to pass through temporary organization of traffic.
On the border with the Republic of Turkey, traffic is normal at all border checkpoints.
