Why do we think there is a political crisis? A status quo that has been built up over the past 30 years is collapsing. The transitional political order that was created after 1989 is collapsing. There were several sacred cows: the first - whatever happens, the American embassy decides it, the second - we necessarily destroy and sell off everything state-owned, the third - regardless of everything, we do not touch the judicial system, because it is not known who will come to power . This is what the leader of "Revival" said. Kostadin Kostadinov in the studio of "The Day ON AIR".
According to him, the appearance of his party 3 years ago in the parliament caused a serious crisis in the colonial status quo.

"We refused to cooperate with the other parties. The colonial status quo relied on 240 deputies, when, however, "Revival" took roughly 40 people out of this equation, it is already becoming difficult for them to form a government. It is not impossible, but it must be the result of a very difficult political compromise. These people cannot be trusted. We will never support a cabinet other than "Vazrazhdane", added Kostadinov on Bulgaria ON AIR.

Referendum on the Bulgarian Lev
They are ready to sit down at the negotiating table if the mandate folder reaches them, but without talks with Delyan Peevski's DPS.

"When we are in a situation where there is disagreement between the political parties and none of them can impose their opinion over the others, then we turn to the main arbiter - the sovereign - the Bulgarian people. On every single issue that affects the future of Bulgaria for decades to come, people who bought their votes to enter the parliament cannot have an opinion," the leader of "Vazrazhdane" stressed.

And the first priority they will focus on is holding a referendum on preserving the Bulgarian lev.

"We need independence"

"This is a cardinally important issue for us. Bulgaria must have 5 forms of independence - it must defend itself, we cannot. We must be able to support our population with basic goods and services - we cannot, everything is imported, there must be food independence, we cannot. It must have political independence and it must have financial independence, that is, it must have its own currency. The destruction of the Bulgarian lev means the liquidation of the Bulgarian state, it will exist fictitiously", Kostadinov is categorical.

He explained that every third Bulgarian of working age is abroad.

"Last year, 40,000 people returned to Bulgaria. We can't be 100% sure if the data is correct or not, but we have values to go by. Western Europe is experiencing a very serious regression, in Germany there is a recession. The euro may sink, but Bulgaria will remain as long as we have our own currency," Kostadin Kostadinov recalled.
