Former Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov will become a deputy in the 51st National Assembly from the 25th constituency in Sofia. The choice made by him will leave Kalina Konstantinova out of the parliament, who was the deputy prime minister for effective management in the “Petkov” cabinet. and MP in the last few parliaments from PP-DB. This became clear from a statement by Nikolay Denkov himself to the media.
Nikolai Denkov was the leader of the PP-DB leaves in Shumen. He gave up his place in that region. His election will allow Aileen Pehlivanova to enter the 51st National Assembly. She was fourth in the list, but thanks to her 2177 preferences, she took second place.
Pehlivanova is the daughter of the mayor of Khitrino Nuridin Ismail. "Democratic Bulgaria" wins the elections in Khitrino. from July 11, 2021, and later "Continuing the Change".
Over the years, the colorful personality of Mr. Ismail has been embroiled in dozens of scandals – from the throwing of BGN 110,000 of municipal money for a luxury personal car, through the lingering shadow of doubt surrounding the millions given for the restoration of the village, to the return of some school lands, which were given to the municipality of Hitrino with the personal blessing of Nikolay Denkov, while he was playing Minister of Education in the “Petkov” cabinet.
However, there should be no doubt that Mr. Ismail shares the values of the PPDB and apparently the coalition shares the values of Mr. Ismail, recalled on "Facebook" the presidential advisor Dimitar Stoyanov.
This is Aileen Pehlivanova. New face in PPDB! Entrepreneur in the field of agriculture and food. A lady who could have had a great career in the US but chose to come back and do business in our country. Or at least that's what the advertising materials say.
What the PPDB do not say is that Aileen is the daughter of Nuridin Ismail. And apparently everything became extremely clear.
Actually, no! There is one more thing.
Eileen has collected 2391 preferences, which means that she has rearranged the list and is already in second place in it. The leader is the former prime minister and current academician Nikolay Denkov.
