We sent 200 names of vote buyers , but the Ministry of Internal Affairs did its best not to check them. It stated in "Speak Now" Ivaylo Mirchev from PP-DB.
According to him, buyers are divided into two parts - one part buys for "New Beginning", the other part buys for other parties or is self-proclaimed.
"What the Ministry of Internal Affairs did at first glance seems strange - it protected those we sent and stretched an umbrella over them. They hit the other group of buyers who are not under the auspices of "New Beginning". Names like Pampersa, Sandokana and Prucha were not touched".
Ivaylo Mirchev claims that "DPS - A New Beginning" have worked with "regional coordinators" to buy votes, promising police protection to people buying for them.
"They said - give me three names, a phone number and a car number and the police won't catch you. They gave and the police didn't catch them. But during the campaign, they raised the level even further: they gave three names, a phone number and a car number to their competitors so that the police could catch them. In this way, there are two effects - the first is that the price per vote falls, on the other hand, competing vote buyers are removed from the market.
PP-DB are expecting an official response from GERB to their declaration - in the same way that other parties have responded to them. From Mirchev's words, it became clear that his formation would support ITN's proposal to clear the election lists, but the topic was not discussed at the coalition level.
"What the "Revival" offer is quite different. They suggest that it is possible for Mr. Peevski to have influence there, because there is no way for us to tell them: "Votes are bought in Bulgaria" and let them answer us: "Well, you support the referendum on the euro,", comments Ivaylo Mirchev.
Whether we like "Velichie" or not, they are damaged and they should send their signal to cancel the elections, according to Mirchev:
"Yes, "Majesty" is a Russian proxy and maybe harmful to Bulgaria, but they are damaged. It is a principle and we must uphold these principles when the Bulgarian sovereign has decided that they should be part of the Bulgarian parliament. For this reason, I would support their signal".
"It's strange the way things appear - on some site that is known for fake news" - this is how Mirchev related the case with the expired interrogation of the former head of customs and the allegations of framing.
"Let everyone be checked - if any of us, a politician, regardless of which party, has done wrong and participated in anything, let him be checked and get the appropriate punishment,", he said.
