„It is possible that “New Beginning” to have bought all sections, from all members, of all parties. It's absolutely possible. We therefore did not say we wanted a partial census of one section or another. We said that I want to all sections.“ This was commented by the co-chairman of PP-DB Kirill Petkov in the studio of “This morning” on bTV.
In his words, a party leader cannot have a 3% voter rating and a result of 11.5%.
„For us, the difference is stolen votes. In the abuses there is probably a bought and corporate vote. Nothing can be done about this bigger problem even through the Constitutional Court, because the Ministry of Internal Affairs has not collected enough evidence. But for the other abuses we've seen about ballot-writing and protocol confusion, we may want to see them across the country,” he said.
Petkov also said what the conditions will be for negotiations in the new National Assembly.
„Borisov must choose Bulgaria or Peevski. I tell him directly. If he continues to be dependent on Peevski and continues to do everything Peevski tells him, it cannot be done. If he's afraid of Peevski, we won't have a conversation. There is a party in this parliament that should not be in it, there is no way they can expect anything from us if they don't support democracy. There is nothing to talk about for the Speaker of the National Assembly if they do not also declare that they are among the people who want to protect democracy,” said the PP-DB co-chairman.
He also explained what he thinks Borisov's addictions might be.
„In addition to us saying to make a sanitary cordon, we have two more steps there. One is that the SJC with an expired mandate cannot choose the Prosecutor General. If they have a small secret between Peevski and Borisov, which is related to past sins of both, the chances are that if an inconvenient chief prosecutor is replaced or not elected - they are at risk that if one is going to fall, and the second one“, commented Kiril Petkov.
