Othe organizers of last night's protest in front of the National Theater will be fined. This was announced to journalists by the Mayor of Sofia, Vasil Terziev.
„The conditions for holding the event have not been met, but that does not change the fact that we have a bigger topic that is in front of us. Why did the competent authorities underestimate the situation at the beginning? Why does our understanding of patriotism boil down to preventing people who have purchased tickets from seeing the play they chose to see? For me, patriotism is not to interfere with someone who has a different opinion, it is not to want to forget some features of the Bulgarian's character and lifestyle that you might not like.
It is patriotism to understand these things, to be aware of them and to grow them together as a society. In order to build a better future for our children”, summarized Vasil Terziev.
