The Speaker of the National Assembly Natalia Kiselova and the Vice President Iliana Yotova will participate in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the discovery of the Panagyur Golden Treasure. This was announced by the press center of the Parliament and the presidential press office, quoted by BTA.
The event is under the patronage of Yotova.
Nataliya Kiselova will be a guest at the children's concert of Panagyurishte “You are the tenth treasure”.
In the Merul area near Panagyurishte, Yotova and Kiselova will visit the place where the 9 Thracian gold vessels were discovered by the three Dejkovi brothers.
The vice-president will also meet with the leadership of the Panagyurishte municipality, and later in the Dom-pametnik theater he will attend the solemn concert on the occasion of the anniversary, where he will deliver a greeting.
The celebrations in Panagyurishte began on December 4. The Panagyur gold treasure was discovered on December 8, 1949 by the three Dejkovi brothers. It contains nine vessels with a total weight of just over 6 kilograms.
