CSKA-Sofia started preparations for Sunday's round of 16 from the Bulgarian Cup against Spartak in Varna, the club announced on the official website, BTA reported.

The session took place before lunch at the club base in Pancharevo, with the players going through individual exercises for technique and accuracy of the shot. At the end of the training, a two-sided game was organized.

The team's goal scorer Godwin Koyalipu is preparing for a light regime because of the pains he still experiences in the lower back area. The striker is expected to resume full training in the coming days. Individually, Marcelino Carreaso, Ulaus Skarshem and Tobias Heinz continue to train. Tomorrow the "red" will hold a class from 4:00 p.m. in Pancharevo.

Meanwhile, it became clear that the first two reinforced concrete columns for the construction of the new stadium were transported by the "Bulgarian Army".

"The oversized load safely crossed the road between Pazardzhik, where the manufacturer's factory is located, and Borisova gradina, without disrupting traffic. Each column is 24 meters long and weighs 62 tons. The first elements are intended for connection between the sectors "B" and "In" and will be lifted by a 250-ton crane delivered from Austria. The columns will serve as the supporting structure of the visor of our new home, and 54 of them will be produced," CSKA-Sofia announced.
