For the sixth day, there is no trace of 13-year-old Nikolay from the Stara Zagora village of Konare, who disappeared in front of his home. By order of the Minister of the Interior, the search operation will continue until the child is found, BNT reported.
Despite the unfavorable weather conditions - rain, wind and low temperatures, police and volunteers searched for the child within a radius of 20 kilometers yesterday.
"As of now, there is no news from the search for the child. We are continuing, despite the bad weather conditions, full-scale operational and search operations, we will continue tomorrow as well, I hope for some result.
During the search for one of the thermal cameras, two dogs entangled in bushes, as well as an unclear shadow, were noticed. However, a field inspection established that the two animals did not match the description of the family's dog. There is no trace of the boy.
"Definitely everything that could be done on the ground has been done. No one from the population remembers such a large-scale operation in this area being carried out", noted Kancho Papazov, mayor of Gurkovo Municipality.
The cameras from the video surveillance in the village have been seized in order to identify the passing cars on the day of Nikolay's disappearance.
