Delyan Peevski clearly stated that he wants to run for elections. Borisov and GERB stated that they do not want to sign the declaration, which means that they do not want to break their dependence on Peevski. The result is clear. This was stated by the co-chairman of "We continue the change" Kiril Petkov to journalists, quoted by "Focus".
"They showed that this dependence between the two, until it is broken, a better future for Bulgaria will be difficult," Petkov also said.
The co-chair of "We Continue the Change" stated that he expects the first meeting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs, which will consider three bills amending the Judiciary Act. He was again categorical that Borislav Sarafov should not be elected Prosecutor General.
"The most important thing for us tomorrow is to see at the first reading what will happen to the Judiciary Act. This is of great importance for all Bulgarians. The biggest scoundrel in the state, Sarafov, in my opinion, should not continue as Prosecutor General of Bulgaria.
Tomorrow we will fight again in parliament. Who is "for" having a person in this position and who is "against". It will be a shame for us if in the next seven years we have such a person as Prosecutor General," Petkov was categorical.
