The National Assembly will begin work with a blitz control at 9:00 a.m. The item is the first for today in the MPs' work program, published on the institution's website.
According to the parliamentary rules, in the first two hours of the session on the first Friday of each month, the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers appear before the National Assembly and answer topical oral questions that relate to the general policy of the government.
The agenda also includes the election of the Chairman of the Commission for Public Oversight of Registered Auditors, as well as the election of the Chairman and members of the Commission for Personal Data Protection.
The program provides for the MPs to discuss at the first reading a bill on loan servicers and loan buyers, submitted by the Council of Ministers. The explanatory memorandum states that the law aims to encourage the development of the secondary market for non-performing loans provided by credit institutions, with established safeguard mechanisms to guarantee the protection of the rights of borrowers. The first vote will consider amendments to the Law on Recognition, Execution and Transmission of Confiscation or Seizure Orders and Decisions on Imposing Financial Sanctions.
