A 74-year-old man from Sofia was hit and killed in the area of the port in Burgas, Nova TV reported.
At around 10:54 a.m. on Sunday, a report was received of an incident in the area of the barrier at the "Zapad" port, in which a truck driven by a 50-year-old Burgas resident, while performing maneuvers, ran over a 74-year-old Sofia resident who was checking the tonnage of the trucks.
The man died on the spot. The driver will be tested for alcohol and drug use. An examination is being carried out by the investigator on duty, as it concerns a work accident.
