Anton Kutev: Peevski is a much more political animal than the PP. The thinking of "Change" is located in business schemes - 1

When a political force like the PP, which comes up with the idea of fighting corruption, falls under the blows of compromising materials, this is a problem. Bulgarians assume that everyone is corrupt, but when the flagship of anti-corruption is corrupt, it is a problem. This is a political force that has categorically stated the fight against corruption as its creed.
This was commented on in an interview with BNR by Anton Kutev, a former BSP MP, former spokesman for caretaker governments and former municipal councilor.

He emphasized the activity of law enforcement agencies "towards these mayors and deputy mayors, given that we have seen them dozing off extremely successfully for years" and suggested that the arrests surrounding the Hemus Motorway case could be "much more significant than those in the Sofia Municipality", as "if they are activated for Hemus, this government will immediately fall".

In his words, "the fact that we ask about the corruption of others is the good thing about democracy", the question is whether there are bodies that can answer the questions. "If they could hurt some of the president's people, they would have done it, without a doubt", added Kutev.
The question on the minds of people like Peevski is not whether he will become prime minister, but when, believes Anton Kutev.

"This man is completely convinced that he is heading for power. We are not going well. The next government will not be Borisov's, nor will it be Zhelyazkov's. Borisov is supporting Peevski with the clear awareness that Peevski, wherever he came from, has blown up everything behind him."

We all see what is happening, we all see the deep corruption in the system, we see the dependencies in it. People know that they are being lied to and that is why they are not going to the elections. We have a political system that is based entirely on lies, he takes stock.
They made PP thanks to the image of Stefan Yanev's government, but they are showing political ignorance – their thinking is based on business schemes. Peevski is a much more political animal than them, Kutev also said, sharing that in the beginning he supported PP and thought that "there is bread in this", but added that "they still had to learn something from politics".

There are few parties with internal integrity. BSP was one of them. MRF too, but Peevski managed to very successfully take it over from within, Kutev reports, analyzing the processes of disintegration and expressing concerns that BSP is really threatened whether it will pass the 4 percent barrier. According to him, if both parties disappear, then modern politics is no longer based on ideological foundations and how politics is done is measured in a different way.
Asked on what it depends on whether there will be early elections tomorrow or the government will hold out longer, Kutev noted that first of all it is "to what extent Peevski will decide to change the government, because he has the mechanisms" and "there is a whole bunch of political technologies" that keep the anger of society within certain limits. Against them stands a single mechanism: the anger of the people and sometimes the people go beyond the limits.

"There is tension. The question is what can ignite this anger. A very simple domestic incident will explode this anger that is accumulating. It is clear that society wants order," insisted Anton Kutev. In his words, when we reach a situation where elections do not lead to an election and a person with a 2% rating governs, this is not democratic.

He believes that favoring the conversation about the euro is a problem for the country, because Bulgaria's major problems are not related to it, and he singled out healthcare and education as such.

"Turning this topic into a single one is an absolute mistake and represents a form of obscuring political problems, which are much more serious."
In the program "Politically Incorrect" Anton Kutev stated that the president is "far from "Vazrazhdane", has completely different causes and will not set out to overthrow the government.

"He obviously does not want to make a project. If he wanted to, he would have done it a long time ago. Peevski and Borisov have the greatest interest in overthrowing the government now to avoid the risk of 2-in-1 elections – they will greatly benefit the president. They will work miracles, but they will not allow it."

To avoid 2-in-1 elections, they have two options - either to call elections this year, the smarter option, or "tooth and nail" to fight to postpone the presidential elections next year, because the government has very difficult months ahead: January, February and March, and the consequences are difficult to predict, Kutev emphasized. He sees as an option "to shift all this blame to a caretaker government and come out clean".
"If the president does not make a project now, after the end of his term he will not be able to do it. There is a trap of expectations in which he finds himself."
If he decides to enter actively, this will bring both a lot of hope and support, as well as many risks for success, since "to put in order a society that has been broken down for so long is not easy" and it is not within the power of one person, commented Anton Kutev.
