26-year-old Georgi Vladov is the new chairman of the GERB Youth Organization, reports the Bulgarian National Radio. He was elected with 239 votes "for" and one "abstain" at the General Assembly of the structure. He replaces the current chairman and Minister of Foreign Affairs Georg Georgiev.
Vladov graduated in civil engineering and is the parliamentary secretary of the Ministry of Defense. Four deputy chairmen and an organizational secretary of the GERB Youth were also elected at the forum - they are Martin Milev, Yaman Husmen, Krasimir Terziev, Velmira Valeva and Maria Dimitrova, respectively.
