A roundtable on health care problems will be held in parliament. The meeting will be attended by professional organizations, MPs, young doctors and medical specialists.
A joint bill by all parties is expected by the end of the month to change the salaries of workers in medical institutions. The measure was outlined at the extraordinary health committee in parliament yesterday. It is also planned to stipulate in the Collective Labor Agreement mandatory compliance with the lowest levels of pay for doctors, nurses and medical specialists.
Young doctors held a series of protests across the country with demands for decent pay for their work - three minimum wages, for transparency in competitions for specializations, as well as for improving working conditions.
