On the site of the former “Electronics“ in Sofia, two buildings with a height of 75 meters each (that is, 17 floors) will be built, as well as several lower buildings. This is clearly the decision of the capital's chief architect Bogdana Panayotova.
For this purpose, a change was made in the development and regulation plan, which was requested by “Belgravia Investments”, already in 2023. The plan already foresees that an administrative service and production complex can be built on the site. This is close to the previous primary purpose – for the administrative-domestic and production site of the “Electronics“ plant.
It is important to note that the development plan shows that literally 1 cm of height saves it from mandatory approval by the Metropolitan Municipal Council. The Law on the Organization and Construction of the Metropolitan Municipality requires the mandatory preparation of a working layout plan and approval by the SOS for buildings over 75 meters.
