A midnight murder shocked the residents of the village of Stoletovo, Karlovy Vary. A 48-year-old man was found dead in his home. Two brothers have been detained in the case. The motive – property dispute.
Wanted man found dead
48-year-old Boris Kisyov was attacked on the street in front of his home late last night. He was stabbed with a knife. The man managed to get to his house and call 112. Minutes later, he was found dead. There are no witnesses.
“We have heard absolutely nothing special at home. As far as I know, the neighbors didn't hear anything either," said Ivanka Georgieva, a neighbor of the murdered man.
“He was a good boy, meek, hardworking”, he told "Nova TV" Nadka Kirova.
Boris was a builder who worked in the nearby village of Slatina, and in order not to travel to Sopot, where he lives with his family, he decided to stay in his native house in Stoletovo on Sunday.
“His son is in Germany. His wife was on vacation in Turkey, they are waiting for her to come, said the neighbor Hristo Neshev.
According to local residents, the murder was due to a property dispute with two brothers who recently moved to Stoletovo. One unlawfully seized and fenced off Kisiv's ancestral place next to his house. A month ago he filed a complaint with the police.
“There was a complaint filed. We thought it was resolved as far as possible without unnecessary tension and strife. But apparently this dispute has escalated and they have decided to seek retribution," commented Miroslav Kolev, mayor of the village of Stoletovo. According to him, so far there have been no complaints from local residents against the two brothers.
The families of the two brothers left the village last night. The residents of Stoletovo insist that they be evicted and are preparing to organize a petition.
