During a GDBOP action: Yanko Vatashki and his cousin Alexander were detained

The well-known in criminal circles Yanko Vatashki - nicknamed Ludia and cousin his Alexander were arrested by the GDBOP this afternoon, NOVA learned from its sources. GDBOP confirmed, but refused details. Vatashki and his relative were detained during an operation in Pernik and Sofia under investigation for racketeering and extortion. The two were caught at the moment of receiving part of the amount they requested, NOVA also learned.
Other participants in the racketeering gang have also been identified. Watashki served an 8-year sentence for racketeering and was released from prison less than a year ago.
