Parents of one of those detained for the beating of the Interior Ministry chief in Ruse: The police director and his neighbor were drunk

"You saw my son, a 54-kilogram child with legs like my hand. Can a person knock down a 130-kilogram person, inflict such wounds on him, inflict such bodily harm on him? This is impossible. Imagine, you saw it, it is impossible. There are no records. These are photos, nothing is visible on them," commented Suleiman Kyazimov, the father of Julien Kyazimov

The parents of Julien Kyazimov, whom the court in Ruse remanded in custody for the beating of police director Nikolay Kozhuharov, stated that their son is not a bad person. They pointed out that the 18-year-old boy is a complete excellent student, reported Nova TV, quoted by novini.bg.

They are categorical that their child did not beat up the senior commissioner. And they commented that the director of the Ruse Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and his neighbor were drunk. They used cynical words towards the four boys and slapped one of them.

"You saw my son, a 54-kilogram child with legs like my hand. Can a person knock down a 130-kilogram person, inflict such wounds on him, inflict such bodily harm on him? This is impossible. Imagine, you saw it, it is impossible. There are no records. These are photographs, nothing is visible on them. You can see the inspector standing when his colleagues come. If you have a broken rib, wouldn't you be on the ground?", said the father, Suleiman Kyazimov.

The Ruse District Court permanently remanded Julien Kyazimov, who is a student at the University of Ruse - majoring in "Crime Prevention", in custody.

According to the court, at this stage there is a reasonable assumption that he committed both crimes for which he is accused - hooliganism and causing grievous bodily harm to Nikolay Kozhuharov. He inflicted blows in a public place in front of many people, including children.

In court, Kyazimov's defense argued that the security camera recordings that captured the incident were unclear and did not show who inflicted the blows on Kozhuharov. The lawyers also pointed out that the incident was caused by the behavior of Kozhuharov's neighbor, who stood in front of the four young men's car so that it could not leave.

The defense's objections are unfounded, the court said. There is a risk that he will hide and commit a crime if released.
