Actress Diana Dimitrova announced in April that she was leaving the theater, and a month later , that she is also leaving Bulgaria. In her last post on her personal Facebook profile, she talks about the coincidences in her life, reported Sofia24.bg, quoted by FOKUS.
"How random are coincidences? Last night I went on the theater stage for the last time in the role of Irina. My last performance was on Dimitar Dimov's birthday. He left on April 1st and by some coincidence I was born on April 1st. "Since the premiere at the end of 2021, we have had 65 performances in packed halls, we have visited and lifted the spirits of 30 Bulgarian cities, and last night we played for the 11th time in Sofia," writes the actress.
She says that she also asks herself a lot of questions.
"Thank you for staying despite the shortness of breath. How come there are no government funds to fix this ventilation, I don't know. Over the years, especially the last one, I have asked myself many questions, to which there is no answer. I also thank my colleagues for stoically enduring. We had a hard time saying goodbye last night. Pretty hard. This parting hurts the most. The fact is that we did something huge for the Bulgarian theater and smart viewers know it. The intelligent viewer distinguishes truth from falsehood, theater from sleaze. This role took a lot of my time, sleep and nerves, but it gave me more.
It gave me friendships that last a lifetime. It gave me the love of the viewers. It also gave me invaluable experience. An experience that made me an even stronger person. ''TOBACCO'' was my grandmother's favorite novel. How coincidental is that? Thank you," she added.
