Elton John has “limited vision" after a "severe eye infection". This is clear from a post by the 77-year-old singer himself on Instagram, quoted by BNR.
The music legend revealed on Instagram that he had a severe eye infection over the summer which unfortunately left him with only limited vision in one eye.
„I am being treated, but it is an extremely slow process and it will take some time for vision to return to the affected eye. I am so grateful to the excellent team of doctors and nurses and my family who have looked after me so well over the last few weeks,” added Sir Elton John.
A number of stars responded to the post wishing the singer well with his treatment, including fashion designer Donatella Versace. She wrote: “Take your time and pull yourself together Elton. We'll be here waiting for you to come back when you're fit and ready.“
It was recently announced that the documentary "Elton John: Never Too Late" ("Elton John: It's Never Too Late") will have its European premiere at this year's British Film Festival in London.
