The monster Ilya Golem Efimchik died VIDEO - 1

Ilya "Golem“ Efimchik, recognized as one of the "most monstrous bodybuilders” in the world, died at the age of 36, reported FOCUS.

He was admitted to hospital on September 6, where he fell into a coma and died on September 11. The Belarusian earned the nickname "Mutant" in bodybuilding circles because of his impressive figure of 180 cm and weight of 155 kilograms.

"I spent every day with him, hoping he would recover. His heart started beating again, but the doctors informed me that his brain had stopped functioning," his wife Anna told local media.

He maintained his alien biceps through a very strict diet, consuming 16,500 calories a day, which included a minimum of five kilos of steak and more than 100 pieces of sushi spread over seven meals a day.

Although Efimczyk has never competed in professional bodybuilding competitions, he shares his training routines online, amassing a large following on social media platforms.

The use of anabolic steroids and synthol has been mentioned as a possible cause of his death, adding his name to a list of bodybuilders who have died young due to the use of these substances. Golem joins figures such as Mateus Pawlak, Cynthia Goldani and Antonio Lesso Bras de Souza who also died under similar circumstances.

His death has left a significant mark on the bodybuilding world and serves as a reminder of the risks many athletes face when pushing their bodies to the limit.
