The national beauty contest “Miss Russia 2024“ has started in Moscow. . The organizers of the event published the first video with the most beautiful girls in the country on the page of the competition in the VKontakte social network.
In the video, the representative of Ulyanovsk Adel Ilyasova, Alexandra Ivanova from Izhevsk, Milana Yavorskaya from Tula, as well as other participants, told about their impressions. The girls shared that they were very happy to be chosen to participate in the final, most of them admitted that they were very worried. The representative of Krasnodar Daria Reshta confidently stated that she plans to return to her hometown with the winner's crown.
At a press conference in honor of the opening, the director of the competition, Anastasia Belyak, announced that in 2024, 50 girls from all over Russia will participate in the competition. The final of Miss Russia 2024 will be held on October 5, before which the girls will participate in the intermediate stages of the competition and prepare for the final ceremony for almost three weeks.
The winner of Miss Russia will receive a million rubles and go to represent the country at the Miss Universe pageant, which will be held in Mexico on November 16. Participants who take second and third place will receive scholarships to study at Russian universities.
Currently the title "Miss Russia" belongs to Margarita Golubeva from St. Petersburg. In November 2023, she participated in the Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador, but did not win any awards. According to her, she had to prepare for participation in the international beauty pageant under unprecedented conditions. “I studied fashion shows for four hours a day, I studied foreign languages with teachers - English and Italian, I went to additional courses in makeup and hairstyles to look my best,”, she explained.
