The pedigree of (c) GERB… The transformation in politics is interesting, when decisions must be made and responsibility must be borne. When you are strong – you lead when you are not strong (we don't use the word “weak” because it is not relevant when you won the elections) you turn to the lineage, to the family ties in the party (not in a direct sense, but everyone in a party is like a family and support each other through thick and thin). Now, family ties have forced three women to negotiate with the other parties in order to have a cabinet, so that Bulgaria can move forward in this difficult geopolitical situation, so that there is stability in the country, so that there is peace for the people, so that there is hope for the young, security for pensioners, work and decent pay, national security, Euro-Atlantic behavior, a clear role in NATO, etc.
December 2, 2023, Borisov spoke in Sliven before the Youth Organization of the party
"They were dislocated and even though the vote passed, it wasn't pretty. It so happened that such a management formula should work. I even want to comment on their arguments. It appeared in the media that it was as if Nikolay Denkov had come and attacked us. That was the suggestion from the news. This is not true. Only I can argue with GERB, and no one can argue with me," Borisov was categorical.
Genesis 5:1
The expression “the genealogy of Jesus Christ, Son of David, Son of Abraham” is similar to the expression in Genesis 5:1: “Here is the list of Adam's seed.“ The first Adam was the head of the first or physical creature. Christ as the last Adam is the head of the new or spiritual creation.“
The subject of this Gospel is Jesus Christ. The name Jesus means Jehovah - Savior, while Christ (Anointed One) presents Him to us as the long-awaited Messiah.
The name Son of David shows Him as the bearer of the two functions given to Him in the Old Testament - that of the Messiah and that of the King. The title Son of Abraham represents our Lord as the One through whom the last promise made to the forefather of the Jewish people is fulfilled.
Historically, the genealogy can be divided into three parts: from Abraham to Jesse, from David to Josiah, and from Jeconiah to Joseph. The first part ends with David; the second includes the royal period; the third documents the list of royal offspring in the exile period (576 BC and after).
This pedigree also contains some interesting features. In it, for example, the names of four women are read: Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and Bathsheba (the one who was Uriah's wife). Since female names were rarely mentioned in Eastern genealogies, the inclusion of these women is made all the more surprising by the fact that we are talking about adultery with them and two were non-Jews. Their inclusion in Matthew's introduction perhaps comes to show in an artful way that Christ will bring salvation to sinners and mercy to the Gentiles...
