Inter Miami fans are hoping to see the team's big star Lionel Messi in action at home to the Colorado Rapids in the early hours of Sunday in an American Major League Soccer match, BTA reports.
The captain of the Argentina national team has not played for Inter Miami since March 13, when he stayed on the field for 50 minutes against Nashville before being substituted with a sprain. “Leo's participation will be judged day by day. He was not ready to play in our previous match. The risk would be too great," commented head coach Tata Martino.
"Leo is feeling better every day and we are yet to decide if he will play against Colorado," added Martino.
Lionel Messi has scored three goals in three games to open the Major League Soccer regular season.
