PFK Levski parted ways with Matej Markovic. The contract between the club and the goalkeeper was terminated by mutual consent, BTA reported.
"Markovic became part of Levski in the summer of 2024. With the blue jersey, he played 23 matches, in which he scored 9 “clean” goals. Markovic made his debut in Levski's goal on July 20, 2024 in a 6:1 away win over Lokomotiv (Sofia).

The Croatian lost his starting spot in the spring, when Svetoslav Vutsov was brought to the team from Slavia. Thus, the hereditary Levski player Vutsov will be the first choice for the new season, and his runners-up will be the young talents Ognyan Vladimirov and the teenager Alek Zdravkov, who was brought in from the capital's Septemvri.
