Our athletes with Down Syndrome won four more medals in the Czech Republic. The European Tennis and Athletics Games are being held in Prague, reports BTA. Our athletes won two more gold, one silver and one bronze medal.

After triumphing in the 100-meter sprint, Alexander Asenov also took the title in the long jump with a result of 4.36 meters. To her gold in the 1500-meter race walk, Radena Angelova added a title in the 800-meter distance, stopping the clocks at 6:35.58 minutes.

In the same men's event, Svetoslav Bogdanov took bronze, finishing in 6:11.03 minutes.

The successes of the graduates of the Federation of Adapted Physical Activity were complemented by the silver of Plamen Pavlov in tennis. In the mixed doubles competition, the Bulgarian and his Czech partner Babroa Zikhova lost in the final to the representatives of Turkey Asik Berfin and Ali Mehmet Kahramat.
So far, the competitors have won a total of 9 medals in the two days of the Games - 5 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze. The Bulgarian participation continues with the 200-meter sprint and the shot put final.
