The Odessa region was subjected to another night attack with drones, the chairman of the regional military administration Oleg Kiper announced on Telegram, BTA reports.
According to him, the Ukrainian air defense managed to neutralize most of the enemy air targets, but a strike on energy infrastructure facilities was nevertheless registered.
Damage was also caused to storage facilities, as well as to an administrative building. The fires that arose were quickly localized and extinguished by the services, Kiper specified.
Over 150,000 Bulgarians live in the Odessa region, making them the third largest community according to the latest official census in Ukraine. In the city of Odessa itself, there are between 50 and 60 thousand Bulgarians, with the largest compact communities in the Bolgrad, Izmail and Belgorod-Dniester regions.
