Trump to Tehran: Make a deal or we'll destroy your bridges and power plants! - 1

US President Donald Trump has demanded that the Iranian government make a deal soon and threatened to destroy civilian infrastructure in the Islamic Republic.

According to the American leader, the US military “has not yet started destroying what is left in Iran“. “Next will be the bridges, then the power plants! The new regime in power knows what needs to be done and it needs to be done quickly!“, he wrote in Truth Social, referring to the agreement reached between Tehran and Washington.

On April 2, authorities in the Alborz province announced the destruction of a bridge, considered one of the most complex engineering structures in Iran, in an air strike.

The United States is seeking a “dignified exit“ from the conflict with Iran, and every speech by US President Donald Trump demonstrates his humiliation. This opinion was expressed by the spokesman for the Iranian armed forces, Abolfazl Shekarchi.

Australia has deployed an elite SAS special forces unit to the Middle East amid fears of an escalation of the conflict over Iran. “Daily Telegraph“ reported this, noting that the deployment was carried out without a public announcement.

Citing sources, the publication indicates that the unit is likely to be stationed at Al Minhad Air Base in the United Arab Emirates, but the exact location and details of the deployment were not disclosed.

„The Daily Telegraph“ notes that the deployed forces “are not intended to participate in combat operations and their primary mission is to provide security and possibly conduct evacuation operations, including for the personnel of diplomatic missions“.

Previously, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has repeatedly stated that his country will not participate in military operations in the Middle East and that all actions of Australian troops located there are “purely defensive in nature“ and are dictated by “the need to ensure the security of Australian citizens and facilities overseas“.
