Japan will expand the scope of the ban on exports from Russia to include 164 more industrial products such as lithium-ion batteries, gas pipes and car engine oils, the Ministry of Commerce said, cited by Reuters and BTA.
The latest addition to Japan's export control list, as part of its sanctions against Moscow's actions in Ukraine, also includes thermostats, nitrocellulose products and woodworking machinery, and will take effect on April 17, the ministry announced.
