A policeman opened fire in a police station in the Turkish city of Adyaman, dariknews.bg. Two policemen were killed, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ali Erlikaya, announced. According to Halk TV, eight law enforcement officers were injured.
The shooting happened around 20:15 local time. A police officer on duty fired with his personal weapon at the head of the station and an inspector of a group from the "Public Security" department. They were hospitalized with serious injuries and could not be saved. The alleged attacker "was disarmed and detained," Erlikaya said on the X social network. A judicial and administrative investigation is currently underway.
