Former US President Donald Trump has developed detailed plan for a peaceful end to the conflict in Ukraine but will not announce it until after the election, The Daily Telegraph reported on Friday, citing an unnamed source close to the policy.
„There is a plan, but he won't talk about it,” the source said.
Instead, Trump will focus on the simple message that he can stop the conflict in an attempt to win the votes of those voters who favor a peaceful resolution. "He wants to stop the carnage. This is the bumper sticker: “Trump will stop the carnage,” the source added, referring to the candidates' political slogan stickers that their supporters decorate their cars with.
In late April, in an interview with Time magazine Trump said that if elected, he would not provide aid to Ukraine unless Europe did as well with identical means.
