The Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk said that another cyber attack is a clear example of the Russian strategy of destabilization before the upcoming European elections, reported the Polish Press Agency (PAP), quoted by BTA.
At 2:00 p.m. yesterday, two messages were published on the PAP feed, informing about a partial mobilization in Poland, which will begin on July 1, 2024. The PAP immediately announced that it was not the source of the messages and added that the information was not written nor sent by its employees. The messages were immediately cancelled.
"Another very dangerous hacker attack illustrates Russia's destabilization strategy on the eve of the European elections," Tusk wrote on the "X" platform. later yesterday."The Polish services are prepared and operate under the supervision of the ministers of the interior and digital technologies," the prime minister added.
The prime minister also said that all this shows "how important these elections are".
The upcoming elections for the European Parliament will be held in Europe from June 6 to 9. Poles will vote on June 9 to elect 53 members of the European Parliament.
