Freezing the conflict between Ukraine and Russia cannot be a solution to the problem. This was stated by the head of the European Commission (EC), Ursula von der Leyen, speaking at the opening of a conference on Ukraine in Switzerland.
„Freezing the conflict today, when foreign troops occupy Ukrainian land, is not a solution,” she said.
According to the head of the EC, the international community must unite to achieve a just peace in Ukraine, based on compliance with the UN Charter.
