Three polls spell doom for Island rulers - 1

Three opinion polls ahead of UK election show Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's Conservatives will survive the vote at the beginning of July "electoral extermination", reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.

Survey of the company "Savanta" shows that Keir Starmer's Labor Party, now in opposition, will get 46 per cent, while the Conservatives see a 4 per cent drop to 21 per cent.

Separate survey of the company "Surveyance" shows the Conservatives could win as few as 72 seats in the 650-seat House of Commons. Labor could gain 456 seats in the House. The Tory result would be the lowest for 200 years. Expressed in percentage terms, the poll predicts 40 percent for Labor and just 24 percent for the Conservatives. According to the poll, the party "Reform United Kingdom" of Nigel Farage will get 12 percent.

A third poll shows Labor on 40 percent, the Conservatives on 23 percent and Farage's party on 14 percent.
