Russian President Vladimir Putin has made his next nuclear threats to Western countries, claiming that they want to destroy the Russian state with a thousand years of history.
Western countries seek to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia in the conflict in Ukraine, said Russian leader Vladimir Putin, who was on a visit to North Korea and Vietnam, quoted by RIA Novosti.
„For Russia, this means the end of its statehood, that's what it means. This means the end of the millennial history of the Russian state. I think this is clear to everyone, Putin said, noting that the West, in connection with its plans to defeat Russia, has lowered the threshold for using nuclear weapons.
„Why should we be afraid? Isn't it better then to go to the end?“, the head of state added.
Meduza, on the other hand, summarizes Putin's words related to the possibility of negotiations to end the war: “Moscow is waiting for the reaction of the West to our proposals for an agreement – but these offers will not last forever. If Ukraine ties the negotiations to the withdrawal of Russian troops, this will never happen”.
