The Israeli armed forces said today that they had killed two attackers on the West Bank, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.
These are two separate cases. One attacker infiltrated an Israeli settlement and the other shot at soldiers after his car exploded.
Israel's emergency medical service said two men were wounded by gunshots. The identities of the men were not released.
There is no comment on what happened from the Palestinian side, notes Reuters.
"Terrorists tried to run over a security guard at the entrance to the Karmei Zur settlement a short time ago and infiltrate the settlement,'' the Israeli army said in a statement.
Soldiers who arrived at the scene of the attack killed one attacker who opened fire on them and began chasing the others.
In another incident, a car caught fire and exploded at a gas station, the armed forces explained.
Soldiers who arrived at the scene "eliminated a terrorist who got out of the vehicle and tried to attack them".
