Trump's call to revoke ABC TV licenses rejected - 1

The chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC ) of the United States rejected former US President Donald Trump's call to revoke the licenses of the "Walt Disney" (Walt Disney) ABC television because of the way the presidential debate was conducted on September 10, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.

"The First Amendment is a cornerstone of our democracy. The Commission does not revoke the licenses of radio and television stations simply because a political candidate disagrees with or does not like the content or the coverage,", FCK Chairwoman Jessica Rosenwersel said last night.

The FCC is an independent federal agency and is responsible for issuing the licenses of radio and television stations in the United States, which are renewed every eight years.
