Hezbollah headquarters in Beirut, where Shiite leader Hassan Nasrallah was killed in a strike, is a “legitimate military target according to with international law”. This statement was made during a briefing by the official representative of the Israeli army, Daniel Hagari.
He added that Nasrallah “was one of Israel’s greatest enemies of all time” and the elimination of the Hezbollah leader, according to Hagari, “makes the world a safer place”.
The army spokesman indicated that the Israeli army will continue to destroy Hezbollah commanders.
In order to increase security, Israel limited the number of participants in protests in the central part of the country to 1,000 people, the spokesman of the Israeli army announced. "In accordance with the assessment of the situation, the Home Front Department has decided to update the population instructions and reduce [the number] to 1,000 participants" in the central and northern parts of the country.
