China calls on the international community to oppose force politics and support the democratization of international relations. "We must advocate for an equal and orderly multipolar world. Adhering to ensuring that all countries, regardless of size, have their place in the multipolar system, calling for the practice of true multilateralism, opposing hegemony and power politics, and realizing the democratization of international relations, said the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during the general political discussion at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
He pointed out that all countries in the world are equal in terms of sovereignty. “Gone are the days when the last word was left to one or two great powers,”, emphasized the Chinese diplomat.
China calls on all countries in the world to respect each other, refrain from “diplomacy of values” and to oppose ideological confrontation.
