European Union to Introduce New Sanctions Regime Against Russia Focused on Hybrid threats emanating from Moscow, reports a journalist of Radio "Svoboda" in his profile on the X social network, quoted by BTA.
According to the information spread, EU ambassadors will agree on the new thematic sanctions regime on October 2, and it will be formalized next week.
„There are no specific names yet, but they will be added in the future”, the journalist specifies.
Initially, it was planned to introduce a general regime of sanctions, but in the end, the EU member states reached an agreement that it would be aimed specifically at Russian threats.
