The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, dismissed four of his deputies, reports RBC-Ukraine , quoted by Focus.
"The system of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine during martial law is a closed perimeter. In order to maintain control over all processes in the department, personnel changes are being made," said in a statement of the military department in Kyiv.
It is noted that Umerov signed an order for the release of the following persons:
- Stanislav Gaider, Deputy Minister of Defense, who is moving to the position of Chief of the Minister's Office;
- Alexandra Sergey, Deputy Minister of Defense;
- Yuri Dzhigir, Deputy Minister of Defense;
- Lyudmila Daragan, State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"I will inform you separately about new appointments, including deputy ministers," is added in the text.
