Ukrainian Armored Equipment Company and Czech Group agreed on the joint production of 155 mm caliber ammunition. Production should start at the beginning of 2025, quoted by News.bg.
This is reported by the publication Militarny. It is noted that the parties have signed the relevant package of documents. One agreement relates to the supply of components and the other — to the licensed production of ammunition, including the transfer of technologies and documents for their production.
It is also planned to produce other artillery shells and tank ammunition conforming to NATO standards.
The process of preparing the equipment at the Ukrainian company has already started. According to Vladyslav Belbas, head of the Ukrainian company, the production of 100,000 ammunition is planned for 2025, and for 2026 — to more than 300,000.
Part of the ammunition will be produced in the Czech Republic, and another part — in Ukraine. This will allow increasing production and reducing the cost of projectiles.
